I am an award winning photographer, author and artist from Sydney Australia.

I have travelled the world from the UK and Europe to the Amazon in Peru , Antarctica and Tibet and am looking forward to taking you on future adventures with me, revisiting travels of the past and sharing life experiences that have helped shaped my photography and artistic career and hope to inspire you in your own creative endeavours.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Welfare Degree. In my previous work, I was a Youth Development Officer and Centre Manager, where I designed and implemented creative workshops, programs, and counselling that included art, music, and educational courses on many welfare issues—such as bullying, self-esteem building, alcohol and drug-related issues, and mental health.

Through this work, I have seen some of the most disturbing cases involving children. Some of these cases kept me awake with nightmares for years. I also had my own private practice in adult therapy.

So, knowing my background, let me ask you this:

Can I call myself an oncologist because I have had cancer? No. Can I call myself a mechanic because I have changed a tyre? A lawyer because I have signed a contract? A policeman because I have gotten a speeding ticket? No, no, and no again.

Then why do people feel that they can deal with one of the most important things we have—our mental health—without any training?

2.Tibet and Everest Base Camp-The Third Pole -Part 2

Day 5 and 6 -Shigatse-Tingri and Everest Base Camp

Shigatse was another beautiful town and today was the day I was going to see Everest and stay at base camp. The group was buzzing- some on oxygen, some of us ok. We did hire some portable oxygen to take with us to base camp just in case. In Shigatse is where it started to feel cold. We decided to head straight to Everest and took in amazing scenery at Dingri of course I took so many photos..

A bit of a travel diary of my trip I am not going fully into depth as this was my experience of Tibet and I want to leave it open and not give it all away in case you are deciding to go to Tibet yourself. Tibet is a place you must experience to understand, to be immersed in the culture and people and landscape and I love that about Tibet. From the YouTube videos I have seen, blogs I have read on Tibet and documentaries- none have done it justice nor will mine. Tibet isn’t just a place it is a feeling ,emotion and energy itself that no words can describe or articulate, a lot like I experienced Antarctica in that same way. But for those that cannot travel and want to know what Tibet is like and are traveling along with me, here we go.
